Situated just north of the B6355 near Gifford in East Lothian, this small loch is one of Scotland's original "wildie" waters. Sadly, the original stock is greatly depleted due to major losses from an unknown cause in the early '90s, and it is not known how many remain. In 2005 the SCG re-stocked with wild carp and more recently with common and mirror carp. There are also roach and a large head of perch which includes some good specimens over 2lbs. Disabled access is difficult as the track around the loch is often muddy and access to individual swims can be tough.
A key is required for access to the car park, these can be purchased from the membership secretary at a cost of £2.50
No fishing from 1st November to the 7th February, as it is used for shooting during this time.
