There is strictly NO NIGHT FISHING for day ticket permits.

Fishing is Day’s Only between the hours of  7am – 8pm.

YOUR PERMIT MUST BE PRODUCED ON REQUEST 

(PERMITS MUST BE OBTAINED BEFORE FISHING)

KINGHORN LOCH EAST BANK DAY PERMIT RULES

  1. THIS TICKET ALLOWS THE ANGLER TO FISH FOR ALL OTHER SPECIES IN KINGHORN LOCH EXCEPT FOR CARP. THIS IS A NON CARP FISHING TICKET 
  2. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF 2 RODS TO BE USED BY ANY ‘ONE ANGLER’.
  3. ANGLERS MUST NOT CAUSE DAMAGE, DEPOSIT LITTER OR LIGHT FIRES AND ARE EXPECTED TO PREVENT OR REPORT SUCH BEHAVIOUR BY OTHERS. ANY PERSON FOUND RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ACTS MAY BE REFUSED FURTHER PERMITS.
  4. ANYONE FOUND LEAVING DISCARDED MONOFILAMENT LINE AND LEAD WEIGHTS, WHICH CAN BE HARMFUL TO BIRDS AND WILD LIFE MAY BE REFUSED FURTHER PERMITS. IF YOUR LINE BREAKS, PLEASE TRY TO RECOVER AND DISPOSE OF CAREFULLY.
  5. NO BRAIDED LINE TO BE USED
  6. ALL ANGLERS MUST POSSESS A SUITABLE LANDING NET AND AN UNHOOKING MAT IF PIKE FISHING. A LANDING NET, WITH A MINIMUM SIZE OF 30 INCHES TO BE USED FOR PIKE. NETS MUST ALSO BE OF THE KNOTLESS TYPE.
  7. MINIMUM 15LB BREAKING STRAIN MONO FOR PIKE FISHING
  8. ALL PIKE ANGLERS – THE USE OF GAGS AND GAFFS IS NOT PERMITTED. WIRE TRACES MUST ALWAYS BE USED AND TREBLE HOOKS MUST BE SEMI-BARBLESS WHEN DEAD BAIT FISHING, PIKE ANGLERS MUST ALSO BE IN THE POSSESSION OF UNHOOKING TOOLS, TRACE CUTTERS AND FORCEPS.
  9. ALL PIKE ANGLERS, ONLY SEA BAITS ARE ALLOWED. THIS IS TO MINIMISE THE RISK OF INTRODUCING DISEASE TO THE WATER. IT IS ILLEGAL TO LIVE BAIT IN SCOTLAND
  10. ALL PIKE ANGLERS, WHEN FISHING A STATIC DEAD BAIT, A FLOAT OR BITE ALARM & INDICATOR IS REQUIRED FOR EARLY DETECTION OF A BITE TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A DEEP HOOKED FISH
  11. ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER ALIVE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE FISH TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LOCH.
  12. MAXIMUM 3LB BREAKING STRAIN MONO HOOK LENGTH FOR OTHER SPECIES INCLUDING ROACH AND PERCH & MAXIMUM SIZE 14 HOOK
  13. ANGLERS FISHING FOR ROACH & PERCH MUST HAVE A DISGORGER
  14. RODS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED WHEN FISHING
  15. FISHING IS FROM THE EAST BANK ONLY (ECOLOGY CENTRE SHORE, BETWEEN THE ROAD SWIM IN THE SOUTH EAST CORNER AND POINT IN FRONT OF ECOLOGY CENTRE BUILDING)
  16. ALL LITTER MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE SWIM THE ANGLER IS FISHING IN, WHETHER IT IS THEIRS OR NOT. THIS INCLUDES CIGARETTE BUTTS, TEA BAGS ETC. PLEASE TAKE YOUR LITTER HOME
  17. THE PERMIT HOLDER AGREES TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES, FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN BEING REFUSED FURTHER PERMITS
